In this Reiki I class, you will learn the history of Reiki, benefits of Reiki, and how to perform Reiki. You will receive an attunement to practice Reiki on yourself self and others. We will focus on Reiki as a form of self-care for mothers, as a tool to coregulate over nervous system to calm ourself and our children and as a way to re-find ourselves as we may have lost our identity through motherhood. As mothers (particularly of young children), we already have our “hands on” so often (snuggling a newborn, rubbing our young child’s back when they are ill, holding hands in a parking lot), imagine the possibilities if those hands were sharing the healing energy of Reiki!

Reiki means Universal Life Force – the healing energy of the universe. The attunement ceremony empowers you to transmit Reiki energy through your hands. Soulful Teens is a bi-monthly workshop for girls ages 12-15. Designed based on the 6 Domains of Well-Being, this workshop supports teens in learning the skills to care for their body, mind and soul. Each workshop offers a deep dive into one of the 6 domains.
