In this Reiki I class, you will learn the history of Reiki, benefits of Reiki, and how to perform Reiki. You will receive an attunement to practice Reiki on yourself self and others. We will focus on Reiki as a form of self-care for mental health professionals and a means of burnout prevention. We will explore the possibilities for Reiki as an integrative therapy and ethical considerations.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is an ancient, gentle, hands-on healing art that helps you feel better and heal better. You can use Reiki to facilitate deep relaxation, relieve pain, and promote healing and personal growth. Reiki stimulates your body’s innate healing resources, encouraging a return to wellness.

Reiki means Universal Life Force – the healing energy of the universe. The attunement ceremony empowers you to transmit Reiki energy through your hands. Once attuned, you have this ability for life and can use this healing energy to promote balance and harmony on all levels of your being and share this gift with others through gentle touch.

Included in the class cost is a Reiki I Manual, Reiki-infused token and Reiki I Certificate of Completion.

Upon completion of Reiki I, you will be eligible to continue your learning with Reiki II. For those who are ready to commit to learning Reiki, a discount is provided when Reiki I and II are scheduled at the same time ($111 savings).
